No more commercials

Every brand has a story it hasn't told. It starts in a room with one conversation.

1.

Int. CMO's office — Day

A long table. A CMO has seen every reel in the business. ANDREA sits down without opening a deck.

Andrea

I don't want to make you another commercial. I want to find the story your brand hasn't told yet, develop it into original content, and build an audience around it.

The CMO puts down the pen.

CMO

(beat)

That's a very different conversation.

Cut to:

We find the stories hiding inside brands and turn them into original films, documentary series, and entertainment that people actually want to watch.

The series bible

Your brand already has the material

Every series starts with a bible. Yours is already written, in six places most marketing never looks.

White pages

History and heritage

The decades, the turning points, and the moments the company nearly didn't survive.

Blue revision

The founder's story

Who bet everything on this, what it cost them, and why they kept going.

Pink revision

Cultural influence

Where the brand changed how people looked, talked, lived, or saw themselves.

Yellow revision

Untold stories

The archive box, the near miss, the employee who was there. The scenes nobody has shot.

Green revision

Customers and communities

The people who made the brand part of their own lives, in their own words.

Goldenrod revision

Purpose and future

What the brand stands for now, and the next chapter it is about to write.

The people, risks, failures, and ideas behind iconic companies.

Original branded series

Episodic

Storytelling that gives audiences a reason to return.

Cultural storytelling

Films and stories

Work that connects a brand to the conversations, people, and movements that matter.

From first meeting to final cut

How a show gets made

One person holds the vision from the first idea to the audience. That is what a showrunner does.

  1. Find the story

Dig through the brand's history, people, and archive until the real story turns up.

  2. Develop it

Shape it into a concept, a format, and a reason to keep watching.

  3. Assemble talent

Bring in the directors, writers, and crew who are right for this story.

  4. Make it

Lead the creative teams and run the production through to the final cut.

  5. Build the audience

Release it so people find it, watch it, and come back for more.

The slate

The shows they haven't imagined yet

I don't pitch services. I pitch shows, developed on spec, and take them straight to the CMO.

Revlon: More Than a Shade

1932. The Depression. Three men and one nail enamel start a company that goes on to teach America to match its lips to its fingertips, then asks women whether they were made for Fire and Ice. What does a shade really mean to the person wearing it?

What's the story your brand hasn't told?

Brands have stories. I bring them to life. Tell me about yours and let's see if there's a show in it.
